Switzerland, officially the Swiss Confederation, is a landlocked Alpine country in Central Europe. Oftringen is a political municipality in the district of Zofingen in Swiss canton Aargau. It lies in the Wiggertal and borders on the canton Solothurn. Concerning the number of inhabitants it is the sixth-largest municipality of the canton.
The municipality extends over the eastern part of the flat Wigger level. It possesses no actual center, but is a scattered housing estate. The local part cross road developed at the intersection of the most important main streets of Switzerland. The motorway is southern a second settlement emphasis with the locality K ungoldingen and developed for the local part Wirtshusli.
