NanoWorld Holding Expands Radius of Action into the USA

Schaffhausen/Switzerland (PRWEB) November 1, 2005 -- NanoAndMore USA Corporation (NAM) was founded on September 7th, 2005 in Beaufort, SC, USA by George McMurtry and NanoWorld Holding AG as a wholly owned subsidiary. NAM is headed by Mr. McMurtry who is a founder of one of the oldest atomic force microscope (AFM) manufacturers, Quesant Instrument (circa. 1992), and is a well known and respected member of the AFM community.

NanoAndMore USA is a high-tech distributor active in the USA, Canada and Mexico providing probes for scanning probe microscopy (SPM) and atomic force microscopy (AFM) and related accessories. NAM will start distributing AFM tips manufactured by NanoWorld®, NANOSENSORS™ and BudgetSensors™. Additionally NanoAndMore USA will distribute other products needed for micro- and nanotechnology except AFM systems.

Manfred Detterbeck, COB of NanoWorld Holding AG, states, “NanoAndMore USA is based on a successful business concept that has already been proven in the European market by NanoAndMore GmbH. This addition increases our control of the path from end user to manufacturer within the NanoWorld Group, the group can therefore react faster in creating new AFM technology that meets the ongoing growth of AFM applications.
